good book. more than enough action, well enough written (though simplistic). our hero must lead a group of rebels without help from his employers, and must face his foes, while protecting a girl. simple, but good. easy, interesting read. but don't expect too much.

This review is from: The Girl from Addis (Audio Cassette)
The Girl from Addis is my favorite talking book. Ted Allbeury writes with great knowledge about Ethiopia, Somalia and Eritrea, and his tale of a British secret agent tracking a Russian spy operation in Addis Ababa is gripping. Denis Quilley has the finest speaking voice I have ever heard. Listening to him read this book is like listening to great music. I have listened to this book at least half a dozen times all the way through and I never get tired of it. Complaints? Only one. Denis Quilley mispronounces "Nestles", the chocolate company, about halfway through. Otherwise, the book is perfection.
