Wow. This guy is awesome. I can't believe we aren't hearing more about Rod Picott. His sound is rich and deep and the story-telling is as rich and deep as the sound! I often play his CD at my office, and many people stop, listen, and ask "Who is this guy?!" Spread the word, fans!

Rod Picott's newest album, Girl from Arkansas, makes me wonder why oh why has this artist not been snatched up by a major label? I cannot recommend this album enough. Get his others, "Stray Dogs" and "Tiger Tom Dixon's Blues" and just see if you don't agree that this artist has major power in the Americana genre.
