4.0 out of 5 stars Great fun
We received this toy and used it for Halloween to finish off not just my 10 year old but also my High School daughters costume. I used it too. I was a 50's guy and needed a temporary Tattoo. My wife cut out our own "I love Mom" stencil and used this Maker. It looked Great. The colors that came with the maker were perfect and Sprayed exactly where we wanted it to. My...

1.0 out of 5 stars NOT THAT MUCH FUN
THIS TOY IS O.K IT'S NOT AS FUN AS YOU THINK. THE INK GOES EVERY WHERE WHEN YOU SPRAY IT. IT'S TAKES A WHILE FOR THE INK TO COMPLETELY WASH OFF. THE AIR DOESN'T REALLY SPRAY CLEARLY LIKE IT'S SUPPOSE TO. YOU HAVE TO SPRAY IT CLOSELY SO IY CAN ACTUALLY WORK. I THINK FOR 25 DOLLARS IT'S NOT WORTH IT.

My wife cut out our own "I love Mom" stencil and used this Maker. It looked Great. The colors that came with the maker were perfect and Sprayed exactly where we wanted it to. My little daughter, who is 10, can use it herself and the stencils that come with the maker are acceptable even to my conservative wife. There are no real Tattoo's allowed in our house so this helps with the fashion statement w/out scarring any body's. We enjoy using this toy and it is easy to clean up and put away as everything fits in the carry case.

Okay, the idea for this tattoo airbrush machine was cute, but it did not really work that well. first of all, it is almost impossible to use more than one color at a time because the airbrush has such a wide spray. Second, the ink does not dry well. Basically, the ink never dried. If you wiped the tattoo, the ink would smudge even after 5 minutes of dry time. This would not be so bad if the instructions did not say that the ink should not get on any clothing as it will not wash out. The ink never dries, so unless your kids don't wear clothing, it WILL get on their clothes and never come out.

My daughter hounded me for months for this toy and after finally finding the last one at a local ... I purchased it for her Birthday. She opened the gift and was so excited not knowing the real disappointment she would soon feel. We put in the four "C" batteries and turned on the noisy pump which worked fine. I pulled the cap off the ink cartridge which got all over me somehow and placed it into the gun. Pressed the trigger and nothing happened. NO TATTOO no nothing. This toy is garbage and if you want to disappoint your kids go ahead and buy one. I'm contacting the company on behalf of my disappointed daughter for restitution. I'll let you know how I make out!

I bought this toy for my daughter 4th birthday , what seemed to be a great pressie turned out to be something else, the pens were dry and needed to be dipped in water to work, which ends up drying the pens out faster, the tattoos stencils were stickers that broke easily and after a few uses can't be used again, My problem is that it indicates that refills are avaliable for this item.. umm i live in Australia and there are no refill items avaliable for this product here what so ever and the company seems to not return calls or email. If any one knows anywhere i can purchase these no matter where in the world please email me on (...)it would be appriecated .. For anyone considering purchasing one of these . its really not worth the money and if you do make sure you can get the refill packs as once the pens are dry and the tattoos no longer stick you might as well throw the entire unit away

A BIG waste of money. My 7 year old daughter reveived this as a gift last year and we were very disappointed. The markers lasted only for a few tatoos and even when we opened it for the first time, some of them did not even work. The colors of the markers are very faint, and it takes alot of patince to sit and wait for the tatoo to show. They also come off with just water. They claim the tatoos are reusable, but ours kept ripping and after the first use there is no way to store them to use again anyway. We did call the manufacture and they were NO HELP.!

I bought this for my daughter last year and she was so excited. She loves tattoos and this was just what she wanted. We used it once and could never get it to work. The ink took forever to come out and the tattoo looked awful. I was very disappointed in this item. I reccommed that you don't waste your money on this product.

My daughter that is 6 years old, received this toy for Christmas 2003. My husband, who is not the most patient person I know, actually took the time to read the instructions and gave my daughter her first tatoo. After he did, he liked it so much, he used one the the tatoos on himself. There are mainly girl tatoos, but also a few options for boys as well...example..sunburst, gecko. By the name of the product, Girl Crush...I would say it is a girls toy anyway. The markers were and do dry up....we do always have a cup of water to dip the tips in....sometimes, it takes 2-4 times before the airbrush with get the color to flow. You have to make sure the tip of the marker is at just the right angle of the air coming out. Sometimes, just twisting the marker with allow the color to be sprayed. Just a note....when inserting the marker into the gun, make sure not to force it in without lining it up with the hole. It can cause the tip to become flat and not pointed which would prevent the airflow to reach the tip. This is the first review I have ever written. The only reason I did was to defend the quality of this product. My daughter has used this numerous times and I'm sure she will continue to use it. I do not let her do it herself so the markers will last longer. She is having a sleepover tonight and I just gave her 2 and her friend 2. Everyone loves it. Even my neighbors play with it when they come over with their kids. I will be purchasing one for her little girl for her birthday in July. Patience is the key to having this product last and to get great results!
