As in the other reviews, my girls (5 & 8) had tons of fun creating necklaces and decorating the larger beads with icing and sparkles. My only gripe is that the candy beads on the package are shown in bright, multiple, full color shades. The actual beads, however, were in dingy pastels, without much variation in shade...disappointing. Still, I seemed more upset about this than my girls, who were too busy icing sprinkles onto beads. They still had a blast!

My daughter received this yesterday for her 3rd birthday. She is definitely too young to do this by herself but had a great time making a bracelet with me. As did her 5 year old brother. It is a REALLY cute toy and would be great for a girl in the recommended age group or even a little younger. It comes with enough supplies to make quite a bit of candy jewelry. I must admit that I think I had the most fun with this!!!

This held my daughter's attention for about half an hour. She thought it was pretty fun, although she was much happier with the bubble gum making kit she also received. She didn't care for the candy and said it tasted like chalk. I think next time I will buy her a kit made of plastic leaving me with no sticky, messy clean up.
