As in the other reviews, my girls (5 & 8) had tons of fun creating necklaces and decorating the larger beads with icing and sparkles. My only gripe is that the candy beads on the package are shown in bright, multiple, full color shades. The actual beads, however, were in dingy pastels, without much variation in shade...disappointing. Still, I seemed more upset about this than my girls, who were too busy icing sprinkles onto beads. They still had a blast!

My daughter received this yesterday for her 3rd birthday. She is definitely too young to do this by herself but had a great time making a bracelet with me. As did her 5 year old brother. It is a REALLY cute toy and would be great for a girl in the recommended age group or even a little younger. It comes with enough supplies to make quite a bit of candy jewelry. I must admit that I think I had the most fun with this!!!

This held my daughter's attention for about half an hour. She thought it was pretty fun, although she was much happier with the bubble gum making kit she also received. She didn't care for the candy and said it tasted like chalk. I think next time I will buy her a kit made of plastic leaving me with no sticky, messy clean up.

I purchased this instead of a candy/cake/cookie making studio with lots of plastic that was going to require refills and eventually sit in my closet. At first my daughter was disappointed because it lacked the "WOW" factor but after opening it and sitting down with her- she rapidly became absorbed in creating jewlery for the family and I was off to do mom stuff. The candy itself doesn't taste bad (bonus as she expected us to eat it too...) and it came with markers (edible ink) you could use on the stampers to create candy designs. If you run out of "string" purchse peel and eat twizzlers and finish out your beads. This is candy- so dont expect it to be durable. Its great for play and then a little snack. When you've finished out the tray (takes a couple settings)- your done- no refills necessary!

The girl gourmet sweets candy bead studio is a fun activity for young girls. My girls enjoyed their time creating different necklaces, bracelets, and rings. There are many parts, so it was a must to keep pieces in the box tray and on a table away from pets and younger children.

I bought this for Valentine's Day for my 7 year old daughter. She was THRILLED and has had loads of fun making necklaces and bracelets with friends. The amount of candy included is probably enough for about 6 necklaces. Time to buy the refill candies!

My daughter had a bday party today and this was the first gift she opened up to play with. Now she and her two siblings are playing with it, and have been for at least the last 30 minutes. They are having a blast!!! I told them that I'll make sure to get this the next time we go to somebody else's party!

My 5 year old begged for another candy maker but it got bad reviews so I got this one instead. She loves it! The whole family has enjoyed making necklaces and bracelets and then eating them. The candy actually tastes good! I didn't put it all out on the tray like they do on the front of the box though b/c it would be too hard to clean up in my opinion. I'm sure we will get the refills and continue to use it.
