4.0 out of 5 stars A solid introduction to Self-Defense, June 18, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Girl Power : Self-Defense for Teens (Paperback)
Girl Power is a good book for introducing young women to the concepts of personal safety. First the book shows girls that common sense and avoidance are a good option. Then the book instructs girls on how to physically defend themselves on how to strike and where to strike. I like how the book touches all aspects, teen dating, violence, avoidance, and assault prevention. This book will make a fine gift to any young women who is concerned about personal safety.
