5.0 out of 5 stars Finally!
In my opinion, this book is one of the best SVH Senior Year books. I have been waiting for Liz and Conner to get back together, and now they have! I was getting sort of sick of Liz moping around about Conner, and of Conner refusing to admit his feelings for Liz. I'm glad that Liz isn't acting so straightlaced and that she's breaking out and having a little fun. I...

3.0 out of 5 stars I'd rate 3 and a half stars if I could...
Something I found rather amusing in this book was in an early chapter. Maria and Ken went to see a movie, and after the movie Maria was discussing it, saying "All these movies make it seem like [teenagers are] incapable of being with members of the opposite sex without wanting to jump them." Then 5 or 6 pages later you have Conner talking to Elizabeth. He can barely get...

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally!, December 30, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Bad Girl (Sweet Valley High Senior Year No. 12) (Mass Market Paperback)
I have to say, I'm not that happy about the Will/Jessica thing. I wish she was still with Jeremy- he's a lot sweeter than Will. I'm a bit disapointed with the way some of the people overrate looks. They think that all that matters is a person's appearance, and they seem a bit shallow. Also, I'm getting a bit sick of Maria. She gets mad at Ken for not telling her when they're on a date, but it's her fault that she's not perceptive. Altogether, though, I give Bad Girl five stars. It's a great book!

I loved Bad Girl! For a SVH fan like me that has dying for Liz and Conner to get together again, this book is great. It makes me think that Liz and Conner will start going out. I won't tell the ending, but I have to say- I'm Sooooo Happy! It's so great, I must have read this book about a billion times just this week!

I thought that this book really lived up to Francine Pascal's level. It was really good. I thought that the whole Jessica and Will thing was awsome. It totally pulled me in, and I promise that you will love this book if you like good books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Conner & Liz, June 8, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Bad Girl (Sweet Valley High Senior Year No. 12) (Mass Market Paperback)
Now that Tia knocked some sense into Conner, he finally realized that he does in fact have feelings for Liz? When will he finally get his act together, get back together with Liz, and admit that he does in fact LOVE Liz. We all know she LOVES Conner, but when will level-headed Liz admit to Conner that she LOVES him?

5.0 out of 5 stars For a Liz/Conner lover (for example: me!) it's perfect...., December 22, 1999

Okay so maybe not perfect, but after like 5 books of waiting, this is definitely what any fan wants to read. I have read this book about 10 times this past week, each time realizing something new. The Tia/Angel situation is about the same, and Jess/Will. But the ending is what grabs you, and keeps you anticipating the next book. I give it 2 thumbs up, 5 stars, and a big 'ol bad bag of chips. Highly recommended!

3.0 out of 5 stars I'd rate 3 and a half stars if I could..., July 2, 2003

Something I found rather amusing in this book was in an early chapter. Maria and Ken went to see a movie, and after the movie Maria was discussing it, saying "All these movies make it seem like [teenagers are] incapable of being with members of the opposite sex without wanting to jump them." Then 5 or 6 pages later you have Conner talking to Elizabeth. He can barely get through a sentence without thinking how gorgeous she is, how nice her stomach is, how nice her body is, and how much he wants to kiss her. Yep, Conner definitely seems like he wants to "jump" Liz. Basically, one second you're listening to Maria talk about how teenagers don't just think about kissing and sex and the next second you have a scene where Conner's hormones are raging because he wants Liz so badly. Did the writer do that intentionally? *Shrug* Maybe. Moving on...
Has Conner realized he has feelings for Liz? Yes, he has. At the end of the book he admits he loves Liz...not to her, naturally, but to himself. And that's a huge step for him.
I don't care much for the Liz rebelling plot. It's annoying, but if you like Liz acting rebellious then also check out the Sweet Valley High book (#7) Dear Sister. Now the Maria and Ken plot. It's cute. They go on "dates". Maria doesn't think they're dates, despite what Jessica and Elizabeth say. The absolute best part of the book with the two of them is at the end when they dance together.
There's the Conner/Megan/Gary plot. Not much to say here. I just don't like Gary. What an a**
This book is worth checking out if you like reading Sweet Valley High/Senior Year books or if you like reading about teen romance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Book #12 in SVH Senior Year Series, November 19, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Bad Girl (Sweet Valley High Senior Year No. 12) (Mass Market Paperback)
If you hadn't noticed already (speaking to SVH Senior Year fans), Elizabeth Wakefield has been extremely distracted over Conner McDermott lately. (Ha! Who hasn't noticed? :) All of her daydreaming is commented on by some of her teachers and her parents in "Bad Girl", due to her missing Oracle meetings and her dropping grades. For most teenagers, bad grades and skipping classes are typical, but Liz isn't like her irresponsible peers, so her erratic behavior is noticed a lot more than if, say, her twin sister Jessica were doing it. Anyway, to make a long story short, Liz gets in trouble with her parents because of this and is grounded. But will she abide by their rules--or continue being her un-Liz-like self by rebelling at the end of "Bad Girl"? (It's surprising the book ends the way it does in regard to Conner and Liz, meaning Liz was starting to turn into Conner's mom, which I thought would have repulsed him rather than turning him on. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens between these two in the next book, "All About Love".)

And speaking of Conner, he and Gary (his ex-stepfather) are obviously still going at it. And, to no surprise, Gary breaks Megan's heart by announcing that he has a fiancee (a much younger woman) and wants to move her in to the house (which, if Gary hadn't noticed, isn't even his house; he's just "baby-sitting" Conner and Megan while their mother is in rehab). Megan, of course, is devastated by this announcement, because she thought her father and mother would eventually get back together. Clearly, they won't be any time soon, so Meg runs away, unable to cope with her unstable family life.

On a slightly lighter note, Ken Matthews is trying to switch his "good buddy" relationship with Maria Slater into something more romantic by inviting her out on covert dates. Maria, however, doesn't realize that's what he's doing until the last half of "Bad Girl", where their friendship appears to be on the rocks. You'll just have to read this book to see what eventually happens. All I'll give you in a way of a clue is a quote from Liz's diary: "Finally! Finally, finally, finally! Finally!"

5.0 out of 5 stars liz a baddy?, November 12, 2000

This review is from: Bad Girl (Sweet Valley High Senior Year No. 12) (Mass Market Paperback)
well, it's about time liz let her hair down and stopped being so perfect.and finally conner admits he wants liz. Liz's parents should act so shocked that she got in trouble or that she isn't a straight A student. In my opinion, a really good book which gets my 5 stars

5.0 out of 5 stars Is Liz really a bad girl., April 14, 2000
This review is from: Bad Girl (Sweet Valley High Senior Year No. 12) (Mass Market Paperback)
Liz is just waiting for Connet to realize that he has feelings for her too, she's feeling all sappy, and this sent her into a daydream. But all works out in the end right? Jessica and Will are a cute couple in this book, and Melissa must regret Will not coming to that party. Jeremy misses Jessica, and Tia misses Angel.
