Not Too Good!,
By "slim_314" (St. Louis, MO) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Girl Talk (Audio CD)
Thsi is not good at all to me for the amount I paid! Read this before purchasing!1.Radio Version(3:37)- Best song on the whole single. The regular Girl Talk with the rap and everything else you've heard. 2.Jacknife Lee Remix(3:50)- BAD!!! HORRIBLE!!! UGLY!!! This sounds like a man who loved disco, club, and hip hop tried to remix an old Village People song. It stars ugly gets worse and ends horrible! I could have done alot better and I'm not even a professional remixer. It screws with the intro strings sound and has a clubby dancey beat that does the song no justice. Jacknife Lee should be banned from music. This discrases the usually good TLC remixes. 3.Kidstuff Vocal Mix(7:53)- The 1st TLC club mix I've heard and it's not too bad. It grows on ya because at first I was indifferent on the track but now it's not too bad. Replays 2nd verse and seems like they had Left Eye in mind b/c her vocals are everywhere and take the place of the first round of the chours. Not too shabby but could be better. 4.Get Away(4:14)- *Unreleased album track* has a white edge to it and I dislike it. Not the usual TLC urban sound but more like an Michelle Branch or Avril song. Overall I wouldn't reccommend this single b/c only 1 song is good and it's on the regular CD. 2 songs [smell] and 1 is decent. Get it on sale in 2 years b/c it ain't worth buying now!
