For starters, this book is just not for the preteen. I would actually say that this is more appropriate for the 13-18 range. It really shows you some important truths about what real beauty really is. It gives real life stories and has great bible refrences/studies. I appreciated it all. I enjoyed the easy, quick pace of it. It challenges you to look deeper and be honest but not in a harsh, confusing way. The books divided up it to four easy sections. The only major downfall of the book is the title, but the BABE theme is important. So I encourage anyone to see past the title and give the book the time.
I would highly recommend this book to any girl out there wanting to see beyond how the world sees you and to truly see how Gods sees you and what He wants you to be for Him!!!!

Andrea Stephens is a stunning person -- inside and out, and this is reflected in her book for girls. It's written in a fun style, and reading it feels like I'm sampling chocolate. Each chapter is written on a different facet of this topic that is so important to today's culture, but it reveals a much deeper side of beauty -- the inside of every young woman.

This is a great resource for your teen. It's a cool tool to put in the hand of young women as they face the cultural definition of beauty and acceptance. It tips girls to the truth of finding who they are and what image really means.

Recommended for youth groups, parents, teen and college age girls, ministries and counseling organizations to girls and young women.

This book has made me feel so much better about myself. She has helped me understand that I don't have to look like a supermodel to be valued and loved by God. And now I know, as Andrea says, I am here on the earth on purpose and for a purpose. I'm a new me, a B.A.B.E!

I LOVE this book. We are currently in a series on it in my Wednesday night small groups (ABS) and I am way ahead. Within the first 20 pages it changed my outlook on life and gave me a substantial amount of self esteem that I did not have before. Andrea Stephens has a wonderful selection of stories of people who have gone through things that have made them feel less beautiful and come out better for it in the end.
I think that this book should be read by every female in America at least once every 10 years. It would make all of the women in this world fell SSOOO much better about themselves, and would take the power out of the supermodels hands and put it into their own.
Andrea Stephens is a wonderful person who really wanted to make other girls feel as beautiful as God sess them the way that she does. I'd give this book 100 stars if I could.

Excellent book for teens. Andrea Stephens is fun and exciting to read, with a wealth of examples, personal stories, and bible verses. This has become one of my favorite books. Andrea's love for God is so evident in this book. She shows us how fashion and the media so often corrupts our soul and the dignity God has given us. No wonders so many girls have a hard time finding the happiness they seek and don't know their own worth. It's not more fashionable clothes or a better boyfriend that teens need. They need to ask God to purify their hearts and mind and help them see the inner beauty that He has created them with.

This book is fun to read and full of God's Word and truth. As a youth leader, this book has been a blessing to give to my girl students. Even as an adult reading it, I was reminded of His awesome truths. If you have a teenage daughter, make sure she reads this. :)
