I'm pretty amazed at what a great package of electro remixes has been put together here. It's worth the price for the cover of Peter Schilling's Major Tom and the track Rocketship. Of course, to cram this many songs on one CD, they had to give us some edits instead of all the full length club mixes, but even so, there are plenty of those--including 9 minutes of You Are the One! The only short edit I would rather have had in its full length mix is the bimbo jones mix of Rainy Monday. Even so, many of the remixes here pale compare to the simple 80s throwback sounds of the original mixes, but they're still great to have on one CD.

The remixes (and new songs) on this CD are extremely well done. If you're a fan of Shiny Toy Guns, or any of the remix artists, you should definitely get this CD. Boys Noize and Gabriel & Dresden are two of my favorites, but it's really hard to pick favorites on this CD. Even better, it's hard for me to pick out tracks I could do without. The Major Tom cover is slightly out of place among all the remixes, but it's such a good song that I don't care.

I suppose that like a lot of people, I was first exposed to Shiny Toy Guns through their Lincoln commercial. As soon as I heard them I knew that I had to hear more! This is a remix album, which means that you might have heard different versions of these songs, but you probably did not hear these.

The tunes are great, powerful, well worth listening to! You like good music? Check out Girls Le Disko!

Decent remix album by the band Shiny Toy Guns that includes numerous songs from both of their existing albums so far (We Are Pilots & Season of Poison).

Also has the hit single song, Major Tom.

why was that never released as a single...

Such talent. This remix album of Shiny Toy Guns has all the right mixes that I was looking for in an album. Back in my club days I would stay out until early morning dancing the night away. This album brings back those good times and puts me in the dancing mood.

The tracks are unique. The line up of songs chosen for the album are amazing, I love You are the One, Major Tom, Rainy Monday and Rocketship.
