5.0 out of 5 stars Documentary Gone Wild
As a Baby Boomer this was my first purchase of a Girls Gone Wild product. I was not disappointed in the least bit. This documentary explores the climates surrounding Spring Break and Mardi Gras. Beautiful young college girls get nude for beads to the roar of a delighted crowd. After wathcing this one I'm hooked on these type of videos and will be adding "Girls Gone Wild:...

This review is from: Girls Gone Wild: Best of Mardi Gras / Best of Spring Break (DVD)
If you are really into watching half-naked girls bounce around flashing their breasts and genitals, you would still need a few beers to get you through this video.

The audio track consists of "yaaaa, whoooo, whistle, whistle, whistle, we need a breathalyzer right about now, come on now, let's go, whistle, whistle" recorded over and over and over again, repeating every 54 seconds for two hours. At least the Mardi Gras video had some original dialog, like "take it off" and "don't touch my girlfriend."

Spring Break was recorded from a single camera angle at a stage in back of the Desert Inn for 40 minutes, followed by some girls getting wet for some unknown reason for another 20 minutes. The Mardi Gras video was a solid hour of girl after girl flashing and catching beads. There were a few clips of couples playing with nipples, but hardly worth enduring the pain of watching the other 56 minutes of it.

If you think you still might want to torture yourself with this video, don't. Buy Totally Nude Aerobics on DVD instead. The girls are prettier and you'll get a good workout too.

Really, this release should be called "Girls as well as a Bunch of Middle Aged Women, and not a few Grandmothers Gone Wild".

These guys were really filming anything they could get. No standards at all.

If this is a "Best Of" tape I shudder to consider their non Best Of's.

If a cow was walking down Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras, I'm sure it would have made the tape.

2.0 out of 5 stars Boring. Real Boring., January 8, 2001
This review is from: Girls Gone Wild: Best of Mardi Gras / Best of Spring Break (DVD)
This is my first and last DVD from the Girls Gone Wild series. I found this DVD to be so boring, that I fast-forwarded it through about 50% of the DVD. Yes, the Mardi Gra segment lasted and hour, and continuously had woman flashing their breasts for beads. The problem is that these women were not very attractive. Some of them are down right ugly. After I saw twenty or thirty of them flash, I was ready for fast-forward. There was absolutely no excitement. I didn't buy this DVD expecting to see playmate type women flashing, but I did expect them to at least be kind of cute. Maybe like the woman you see in the Mall, that's cute in her own little way. Maybe the cute girl across the street with that neat smile. None of them are in this video.

The Spring Break section of the video, is pretty much the same way. The majority of the video, is a wet tee shirt contest with extremely average looking ladies. Trust me, saying that they are average looking is being nice.

Overall, if you want to see extremely average looking women, flashing for two hours, this is the video for you. If your looking for the girl next door kind of flashing video, your going to be disappointed.

4.0 out of 5 stars Girls Gone Wild Best Of, December 19, 2000
This review is from: Girls Gone Wild: Best of Mardi Gras / Best of Spring Break (DVD)
Girls Gone wild Best Of is a combination of the Best of Marti Gras and Best of Spring Break on one disk. The Marti Gras section shows what must be over a hundred amateur women flashing breasts and sometimes more for bead necklaces. Most of the flashing is directed toward the balconies above and not towards the camera.

The Spring Break section is two bikini contests where amateur women on stage flash while dancing; Both contests end without a winner being chosen.

The only real complaint I have is that there seems to be a cheering tape added to the audio with somebody making the same comment over and over; This is for both parts of the DVD. I would not really call this an X rated product because no sex takes place, it is more like a heavy R rated movie.

Overall this disk is worth the money if you want to see a lot of women flashing.

If you have wanted to see what your daughter will do during Spring Break for some cheap, Chinese plastic necklaces; watch this documentary! Filled with girls (not women) who will show their ta-tas for just about any reason. I know now where to go for Spring Break! This is not a movie, but a documentary. There is only one camera angel, so do not expect a director's cut! However, if you want to see young girls Going Wild, this is for you!

The girls in this specific video are REALLY UGLY. There are some truly disgusting scenese featuring some really low quality women. This is definitely not worth the money or even the time to watch.
