This book is visually so colorful and the patterns are well chosen for this age group. It's a great way for young girls to get started knitting. There are good, basic instructions that teach you how to knit, and patterns that are fun to knit! Plus, it's just great to look at. There is a little cartoon character throughout the book that is dressed in the pattern as well. Just adorable.

Just perfect for my granddaughter - age 10.
She is just learning how to knit and this gives her
a number of things that she can try for herself
at the beginner level.
