5.0 out of 5 stars Bossa Nova at its best, January 31, 2000
This review is from: Girls From Ipanema (Audio CD)
Never mind the cover (I love it!), but this double album CD set is an excellent sampler of classic Bossa Nova. If you were to listen to only one Bossa Nova CD then this would be it.

Stan Getz, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Astrud Gilberto, Baden Powell, Bob Brookmeyer, Luiz Bonfa and many others.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best!, August 15, 2004
This review is from: Girls From Ipanema (Audio CD)
This CD alone got me in to the Bossa Nova sound. The selection is great. There are no elevator music songs on this album, it is up tempo, lively and catchy album.

It has been in my 5 disc changer for 3 years now.

This is the second one I bought. The first one I listened so often over the years that it was scratched.
