This review is from: Girls Girls Girls & Kid Galahad (Audio CD)
This CD features two Elvis soundtracks from 1962.
Kid Galahad is a very good soundtrack, although it only features six songs. "King of the Whole Wide World" is an absolute classic, and all the other songs are good, too. Girls! Girls! Girls! is a more uneven soundtrack. The best known song is the classic hit "Return to Sender". And there are some other good songs, like "Where Do You Come From", "We'll Be Together" and "Because of Love". But there are also some pretty bad songs, like "Earth Boy", "Song of the Shrimp" and "The Walls Have Ears". This is hardly an essential Elvis CD, but Elvis fans should enjoy it.

For true trivia buff(s)...in dialogue of Girls, Girls, Girls, Elvis is
referred to as "SIR Galahad" several times...'62 also brought us Kid Galahad starring Elvis... an early example of "product placement?" |
