Girls! Girls! Girls!

3.8 out of 5 stars  See all reviews (40 customer reviews)
The year was 1962. Teens twist at the Peppermint Lounge. John Glenn orbits Earth. Wilt Chamberlain scores 100 points in a single game. And Elvis digs the possibilities of Girls! Girls! Girls! This Time he's a charter-boat skipper who helps tourists land the big ones. Of course, plenty of beautiful ... girls (including Stella Stevens) want to land Elvis. But there's something Elvis likes almost as much as romance - a boat! He yearns for a sleek sailboat with a $10,000 price tag. Let's see, that makes him about $9,999 short.

  • Directed by: Norman Taurog

3.0 out of 5 stars Lighten up, you uptight critics!, May 9, 2005
SHEEEESH!! Some of the vicious attack 'reviews' here are ridiculous. No, most Elvis films are not profound cinema, but to attack the man and his fans as hillbillies and fools (in long rambling diatribes) seems odd and extreme...

5.0 out of 5 stars "Where are my Elvis videos?", March 10, 2002
By
Timothy L. Swan (Boring, Oregon USA) - See all my reviews
"I am not one to complain; but, when I see these ridiculous prices for the VHS tapes of "Girls! Girls! Girls!" and "It Happened At The World's Fair"; well then, what I cannot seem to understand is why Paramount and MGM just will not reissue these two movies on VHS and DVD. By not doing this, then they are depriving us of actually owning our very own copies of these two titles. They are the only two Elvis movies that I currently do NOT have in my collection/library at the moment. It seems so unfair NOT to be able to have them. If you are reading this, and you agree with me, then PLEASE speak up, and say something. After all- I am not the only Elvis fan in the world. I am almost
certain that others would enjoy them, too. Thank you."

4.0 out of 5 stars I'm In Agreement!, August 17, 2002

(REAL NAME)
This certainly isn't one of Elvis' good movies -- but it holds a sentimental favorite place in my heart. It was one of the first Elvis movies I ever saw when I first became a fan, way way back in 1975. It's one of the few I don't own, and I have been eagerly searching for Elvis movie titles on DVD -- and have been very disappointed to find so few! This year, with the 25th Anniversary, would be a grand time to have finally reissued all the movie titles on DVD!
