Perhaps it is assumed, but the two main characters are incidentally lesbians (as am I), yet the storyline doesn't exactly revolve around that fact. My point is, Lesnick actually does a very respectable job of representing some real emotions in the relationship aspect between these two. I was rather touched by the sincerity.

Once the second book comes out, you will see more of these "warm fuzzies," and I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who appreciates random chaotic fun with a true backbone of soul supporting it.

I picked my book up directly from the man himself at A-kon, and I must say I love it. It's the first chapter of the story, with a few extras, including comics featuring everyone's favorite indestructible kitty, and random new art.

If you've read the comic before, or like superhero teams, random adventures including Micheal Bolton, cute invincible kittys, or even just want a cheap laugh or 100, get this book!

It's an amazing comic about two lesbian lovers and their adventures. Has amazing and funny/sexy art. There's a complete collection but I don't believe it's been put on Amazon yet. Well worth the money and great read. Would highly recommend getting it. Not for children.

I just stumbled upon this comic in the last few years & it's one of the few webcomics that I actively looked to buy. Lesnick is a fantastic artist & it really is fun to see how much he's matured as an artist over the years. From his first gag strip of Cutewendy (which is in the same universe as Girly) to the most recent strips, his artwork has been very fun to look at.

Trying to describe Girly is fairly difficult, to be honest. There's just so much that goes on in this comic that it's hard to pin it down to just one story arc, so I'll just describe it from the start. Otra is an antisocial loner who spends most of her time shooting people off into space when they annoy her. (Which happens quite frequently.) It isn't until she discovers the beautiful Winter that she begins to change & accept more people into her life. She tries to avoid Winter, which doesn't work since Winter is determined to insert herself into Otra's life, for better or for worse. (Mostly for the better.)

I've really loved this series & when I found myself re-reading the internet strips from the very beginning, I decided it was time to purchase this comic. Like I said in the beginning, the artwork in this is really good. Sure, these first few strips are a little rough when you look at his current level of art, but the comedy in these early strips is really good. I'd go as far as to say that Lesnick is one of the best webcomic artists on the internet right now. Not only does he manage to keep his comic fresh & continually tries to improve upon it, but he also has set story arcs & a defined ending- a rarity in regular comics/graphic novels, let alone webcomics.

If you like funny, sexy comics, you'll love this series. If you don't, then I still recommend getting this. Lesnick is worth spending the money on.
