First of all, awesome helmet. I ride in Vermont for reference: COLD winters! This helmet kept my head and ears warm, the ear flaps have little mesh panels so you can still hear really well. The ear flaps as well as the liner panels inside the helmet are removeable for washing. Helmet is lightweight. Fits fine with goggles and has a snap strap on the back to hold your goggle strap in place. But really though, regardless of all this, you know at first glance if this is your helmet or not!

I have the version wrapped in white leather. I love the helmet! It looks sweet. It's very comfortable. The Tune-Ups (Giro/Skullcandy) work amazing. Make sure that you get the Tune-Ups that have buttons and not just tabs. I had to send the first ones back, but they are worth it. So convenient and very loud.

The only thing that I would mention is that it holds heat pretty well. On warm days you'll probably want to take it off when you stop.

About three years ago I obtained the "bold " Bad Lieutenant. I'm over 40 and frequented the mountains since I was 13.
Back in those days cars didn't have any airbags and such. After snowboarding more and more extreme me and my backcountry pall got more and more aware of the dangers. Cars have become saver too and they look cool ( mostly ) But what to wear on your head when riding deep powder with hidden rocks ? Giro came with the solution; The one and only Bad Lieutenant. Don't worry about ventilation....there is none. Who needs it anyway. It's war out there, just look cool when you crash, the Bad Lieutenant provides.

This helmet looks great, feels comfortable, stays very warm, and protects your brain! To give you an idea, I was snowboarding in 15 degree weather with wind gusts in Tahoe, and my head and ears never got cold.

This helmet is great for those of us who grew up skiing and snowboarding before the era of helmets, we make our kids wear them, so it's time for the adults to wear one too--this one is great looking, and proved to be worth our money even on it's maiden voyage down the mountain... on the last ride of the day, my husband took a digger, and landed hard on the back of his head. He was glad he was wearing it, and loves it!

I was snowboarding in Whistler-Blackcomb and realized that I really needed to protect my head on such steep and rocky slopes back in 2004. I bought this helmet there and have used it for every season since. It is very comfortable and warm and has protected my head in several bad crashes. I couldn't be happier with this helmet and I'm hoping it will last me for many more seaons to come.

Well, I hop eNEVER to test this product to its max capability. It looks nice and sturdy, though. I will wear it with confidence.

I purchased this helmet for my 13-year-old son. The quality is excellent and he thinks it's a cool helmet for the slopes and snow adventures.

When the helmet arrived, it was a beautiful chrome color with a shine like you woudln't believe. I tried it on and was VERY happy with it. This thing has a great fit and is very light in weight. The seller offered a hard-to-find helmet at an AWESOMELY low price and I was DEFINITELY pleased.

Since I have no intentions to take it skiing or snowboarding or whatever, I can't really speak for its quality as far as absorbing impact to my noggin. But it's a light-weight helmet that fits very well.

I bought this for a costume, so I had to paint it black. Since hindsight's always twenty-twenty, I really should've taken a couple pictures before painting this bad boy, when I think about it. 'Cause this helmet was a REAL beauty! Now it doesn't even look the same (although it still looks good).

I'd definitely recommend this helmet to anyone who needs it due to the helmets proper fit. I'd ESPECIALLY recommend this helmet to anyone interested in doing a costume from the new Battlestar Galactica series (since it's the same helmet used on the show).
