I find the build quality and the overall finish very good.

Nice that the vents are adjustable, as the day and myself warmed up had to open them to keep cool.

I wanted light weight, comfortable and didn't want to look like a bobble head.

First, I am getting close to 40 and comfort and practicality take it over looks for me.

This helmet is light enough, sturdy enough, and has enough ways to fine tune the attachments to create a perfect fit. I feel well protected when I wear it. It also has vents to prevent fogging of goggles and keep my head cool. Best thing is that I do not need to take it of to open or close the vents (easy even with gloved hands). My ski is rapid and aggressive, and I really need this cool (no pun intended) feature. The ear pads keep my ears toasty, but I can still hear quite well through them. I do not use earphones with my helmet (skiing is enough for me and do not need the distraction + I think it is actually not that safe) and therefore cannot comment on this feature.

I find the build quality and the overall finish very good. I like the style, but that is very subjective of course.

I do not think you can really go wrong with that one.

This helmet fits great. Well-made and comfortable to wear. The padding is holding up well and even with crashes no snow is getting inside the helmet. It has a convenient venting system that helps you keep cool after hours of snowboarding. Looks snazzy on the slopes. Love this helmet.

Received my helmet about a week ago and have already had a chance to use it. So far, I'm completely satisfied. I don't even notice on my head it's so light and comfortable. It also looks great - if a helmet can look great. You don't look like you're wearing a bucket on your head with the Giro Seam.

Great helmet, had it on all day skiing and barely noticed it there. I think it is more comfortable then a knit hat. Fit fine with goggles. Nice that the vents are adjustable, as the day and myself warmed up had to open them to keep cool. Vent works easy, no need to take off the helmet to adjust. I got this as a present and kind of kick myself for not getting one sooner. I got an XL as I have a bit of a melon for a head.

I shopped extensively before selecting the Seam, and I bought it because for under $120, it was the best one I found with:

1) Adjustability on the fly for proper fit
2) Pouches in the ears for drop-in audio
3) On-the-fly adjustable vents

I just received mine, and I'm very happy with it.

First of all, I see a comment saying that the ear flaps are not removable. I know mine were quite hard to take off the first time, however now they snap in and out with ease, perfect for spring skiing.

Very lightweight, hardly know your wearing it. In the spring it was not too hot, between the vent system and with the ear flaps off, it was not too warm. With the adjustment for the size, it is easy to get that perfect fit whether you are wearing the helmut on its own, or with a balaclava on those cold january days. I also liked that it was not as big and bulky as some of the other helmuts I tried. Overall very happy with my purchase

I own and love this helmet. Superlight, warm, breathes well but most importantly for me, fits my oval head really well without messing around with pads. I think most people have slightly oval heads but helmets are usually round. This one's a winner.

First ski helmet I've had and I will never ski without a Giro helmet again!! The helmet is super comfortable and the adjustable top makes it perfect for anyone! Also keeps my head warm better than any hat I've worn! Would buy this product again!
