While the older editions were quite usable, this new one is very unbalanced. New chapters have been added, such as Biotechnology, Drug discovery, Diagnostic agents. But several chapters of medicinal chemistry aren't included whatsoever. No one word about antiemetics, laxatives, generally drugs acting on the gastrointestinal tracts. No mention of neuraminidase inhibitors of influenza virus, etc. There are far better books on the market. Perfunctory editing.

This is is what I ordered, but I think it took too long to get here compared to other products I have ordered from amazon. Also, I understand the book is used, but the pages are beat up. They aren't completely flat even with the book closed.
