If you like a little Velvet Underground, mixed in with a little Beck, a tidbit of david Bowie, and a little bit of LCD Soundsystem - and REALLY an amazing chemistry on-stage, and a unique look you will have an idea of what they are like on-stage. I honestly can say - I am not always a HUGE fan of live shows - but their sound is not only so wonderful on CD - it is great live - they sound EXACTLY like the CD (ya know how some bands never sound that way?). Anyhow, I just saw them live last night at the Maintenance Shop at Iowa State University - and LOVED it... seriously... I think my students thought I was going to lose it... they just really have a sound and a look that is so unique, and different that I believe that they will be HUGE soon...... they have great new stuff that is not even on this CD - and I am telling you - well worth it... Oh, and they have such a GREAT sense of humor... VERY likable...

I first saw this band at the Granada in Lawrence, KS at the KJHK reunion night. All I can say is that I was blown away by their amazing stage presence. I was more amazed when I picked up the album to find that they sounded just like the live show. The trombone adds that little unique flair that makes it all come together. While their second guitar player is leaving, I have no doubt this band will bounce back and provide some smashing hits in the future.

i was lucky enough to see them four times while they toured with billy corgan- and they were absolutely wonderful every time. their live show is even better than their cd- the band has a great chemistry and stage presence. this is a band that is headed for bigger and better things.

my favorite track (and the best one to see live IMHO) is 'the most'. it will make you drive faster.

buy this cd. you will not be disappointed.
