I spent 9 years searching for this CD here in South Africa. One search on Amazon and now I am the proud new owner of THE best Christmas CD to grace this planet. The soul, the feeling, the harmony, the emotion - I will certainly treasure this CD for years to come.

Silent Night on this CD is easily THE best song I have heard in my entire life. And I am a music fan of note. Do yourself a favour.

THIS IS A MUST HAVE ALBUM I LOVE IT. I GREW UP ON THIS ALBUM. MY MOTHER HAD BOUGHT THIS ALBUM WHEN I WAS A KID I REMEMBER IT JUST LIKE IT WAS ON YESTERDAY. IT CONTAINS THE TRADEMARK "SILENT NIGHT" I LOVE THIS WHOLE ALBUM . GIVE LOVE ON CHRISTMAS DAY A VERY NICE CUT ALSO, LITTLE DRUMMER BOY IS SUNG VERY WELL. I LIKE HIS WHOLE ALBUM AND IT IS A MUST HAVE FOR ANY R&B AND TEMPTATION FAN I LOVE THIS WHOLE ALBUM.

The Temptations recorded this one in 1980, a little after their commercial prime. Even though they were no longer topping the pop charts, this is even better than their "Christmas Card" album from 10 years earlier. They chose a more interesting selection of songs this time around, instead of just relying mainly on the standards. The arrangements are good, and their voices are all in ine form. The only fault is that there are only eight songs, but since it is so reasonable priced, that is not really a big deal.

I heard this cd from a cousin. The song that is my favorite is " Silent Night" Anyone looking for a good Christmas cd, please purchase this cd. It only has 8 song`s and they will get you in the Christmas Season each year. I let some Friends and Family members listen too the cd. The outcome was I purchase 7 cd`s. The price for cd is EXCELLENT!!!!

This is the BEST christmas CD ever made. I am jamming to little drummer boy as we speak. This CD is a must have for any music listener, rock, rap, pop, or R&B a must have. I am now 28 yrs old I can rememeber my parents listening to this cd..well record or cassette back in the day and I just had to buy it for myself to share with my family during our chistmas time. But as I said earlier little drummer boy is the best rendention I've ever heard hands down!

This is a family favorite of ours. I moved into a new house over the summer, and have not located many items, including my 'Give Love at Christmas' cassette (had it for years). I know that it's around the house, but I could not enjoy the holidays without The Temptations, so I ordered the CD from Amazon. (I am sure that I will find the cassette now, but that's all good.) This is THE BEST Christmas music/singing around, and it will be around for a long time to come. Picture this... the fireplace ablaze, the kitchen smelling like cookies and cakes and such, sipping some eggnog, family, friends, and The Temptations' Give Love at Christmas' playing in the background. Our holidays would be incomplete without The Temptations.

I start playing Give Love At Christmas in Setember and listen to it through the new year. It is the best combination of seasonal classics and Temptation originals to get you in the holiday spirit done in done in a way that only the Temptations can. A must for the holiday season.

I HAVE LISTENED TO XMAS ALBUMS/CD'S FOR YEARS AND HAVE FOUND THIS CD TO BE THE BEST EVER WHEN IT COMES TO HOLIDAY MUSIC. IT IS NOT CHRISTMAS IN MY HOME UNTIL THE TEMPTATIONS "GIVE LOVE AT CHRISTMAS" ALBUM/CD IS PLAYED. IT IS A TRADITION TO START PLAYING THIS ALBUM DECEMBER 15TH.

When it comes to most Christmas albums, typically you'll fast forward through a few to get to the best cuts. Not on this album tho. The quality of the recordings are excellent, sounding nothing like you'd expect a 25 year old album to sound. The soaring title track sets the tone form what's yet to come with the soulfull harmonies that the Temps are legendary for. "The Christmas Song" masterfully lead by Dennis is truly the best rendition of the song that I've ever heard. "Love Comes With Christmas" is a gentle loving melody that reminds us of the true spirit of the holiday. "Little Dummer Boy"... The song still gives me chills and the Temps harmonize in the way only the Temps could. The uplifting "This Christmas" is Motown all day. "Everything For Christmas" led by Richard Street. I've never beard this sony done any other way and so this is a true gem on this album. The best romantic Christmas song thas graced my ears period. I even listen to this cut on a regular basis throughout the year. Melvin's "Christmas Everyday" written by Smokey one again will have you bounce'n and jammin'. And then, there is not enough that could be said for Silent Night. They took the most beloved Christmas song and created a version that Joseph Moore, the writter of the lyrics, and Hans Gruber, the composer, would have never expected to become of thier work back in 1818. There is no more soul stirring, joyous and masterfully sung version of this classic. Glenn Lenord's voice soars as lead as well as Melvin's lyrics and Dennis's narration through this 6min song still brings tears to my eyes to this day. Soul fan or not, Christmas spirit or Scroge, The best Chistmas album there is.

This is a great CD. My family has been listening to this album since i was a baby probably before. It's our Christmas tradition. I'm 15 years old and I always look forward to listening to it at Christmas.
