This is the third book about the Strong brothers. I didn't realize at first that this was part of a series, so I don't think that you need to read them in order. You might understand the brothers a little better if you do, but you won't be lost if you don't. This was really good and I had a hard time putting it down. LOL. I do have one complaint. I hated the fact that she would leave us in a juicy scene and we wouldn't be able to know what happened. For example when Kaeden walked in wanting to talk with Felicia only to find out her whole family is there to meet him! I would have loved to hear how that whole situation went over. But she didn't and when she put the two characters together again it was over and you never know what happened. She did that a couple of times. I have to say though that was my only complaint and I"m definitely going to be going back to read the first two books and I'm eagerly awaiting her next one, it sounds really good!

Love Those Strong Men!,
By Linda Y "always reading" (Columbus, OH) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Give Me Fever (Paperback)
The long awaited 3rd installment of the Strong clan featuring Kaeden, the nerdy, allergic and low self-esteem brother in love with Jade, the bombshell, outdoor loving and confident woman of his dreams. Their romance starts with a lonely Kaeden battling the outdoor elements for the weekend to be closer to Jade who runs "Wild N Out" a camping company that his father and brothers have decided to take. Kaeden & Jade have a nice get to know you relationship that develops into firey sparks plus there is the family camaraderie that we love with the Strong family. Great read, look forward to Kaleb's story!

Nothing Like a Strong Man,

I have been waiting for Kaeden's story since he was first introduced as Kahron's "twin" in Heated. Niobia does not dissapoint. At first I saw Kaeden as a nerdy, frail type of guy, but he proved to be anything but. Kaeden shows that he is very deserving of the Strong name. I recommend that you read this book with your significant other readily accessible...

There was no "wow" factor to this one. Was it enjoyable? Yes, I guess. But there was nothing that could really hold my attention like the other books Ms. Bryant has penned. It looks like she's just trying to run through the family. Loved the connection but again, there was just nothing to bring me in. I've read better...

Jade Prince adores the outdoors so much she's co-owner of Wild-n-Out Tours as well as a nature guide. Kaeden Strong has severe allergies, hates the outdoors and is basically considered the `softie' of the virile Strong men with his bespectacled eyes and accounting profession. Kaeden harbors a secret crush on Jade and when their paths cross during a male bonding camping trip that Jade happens to be the tour guide, bolts of lightening and roaring thunder explode as this unlikely pair succumb to a fiery attraction.
Niobia Bryant's latest edition to the Strong family saga is as scintillating if not even moreso with these conflicting personalities and their poignant love song. The storyline mos def conveys all that the title promises with beguiling scenarios. The characters are excellently developed as well as an aura of authenticity that further enchants the reader. Ms. Bryant's natural skills ring fiercely within the pages of this remarkable read. Feelings of insecurity, manipulation, misconceived notions, humor, romance, familial camaraderie, honor, and pride are just a few of the emotions that will intrigue you from start to finish. I highly commend Ms. Bryant's latest masterpiece. Niobia, Mz. Thang...yep...you know you laid it all the way down...the tracks are mos def lyrically correct. Bravo!!! 4.87

I must say I was captivated by this book. I love the way it was written. I connected with the characters are thought it was one of the most believable romance novels I've ever read. And yes there were things that were predictable but I still couldn't wait to read them.
I enjoyed this book so much I read it in under 24hrs(that is in between a few television shows too)- I was that addicted. As a black woman I am so proud to read a classy well written novel by another black woman. Thank you for seducing my mind; and a BIG thank you for not repeating past scenes every chapter. This book has content and a very good plot- I highly reccomend it and look forward to reading more from this Author!

Opposite Attraction,
By The RAWSISTAZ Reviewers (RAWSISTAZ.com and BlackBookReviews.net) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Give Me Fever (Paperback)
Kaeden Strong refers to himself as the black sheep in the Strong family. He is handsome like his brothers but he lacks their brawny physiques and self-assurances. Ever since he was a young boy, his brothers found pleasure in teasing him because he was allergic to the outdoors and couldn't work on the family's farm. As an accountant of his own firm, Kaeden doesn't find much time to date but lately he's beginning to get tired of being alone. He's hoping all that will change once he asks sexy Jade Prince out for a date. From afar, her beauty and voluptuous body holds his heart captive.
When men gawk at Jade, all they see is her stunning beauty and tantalizing body. If only they knew there is more to her than those attributes. She's intelligent, loves the outdoors, co-owner of Wild-n-Out Tours, an outdoor tour company. When she meets Kaeden, her first impressions are he doesn't have a strong body like his brothers and he looks like a nerd. While on a camping trip, Kaeden wanders from the group and gets lost. After Jade finds him, they are left stranded for the night in the woods and they share body heat to ward off the cold. GIVE ME FEVER is a romantic tale of how opposites attract. Jade and Kaeden don't have many things in common but the feverish desire they feel for one another brings them together like a magnet. Niobia Bryant vividly describes the scenes in great detail, where I felt I was physically transported into the story, however halfway through the novel I felt the story losing steam and it was never regained. Flat and uninspiring,

I was really disapointed with this story as the discription built it up to be something that its not. The blurb should say something along the lines of "can this couple really make it work when he's a nerd and shes super hot" (and if you forget how hot she is you are reminded of it almost excessivly throughout the novel)
I found a few other things with this story which led to is 1 star rating. It was very confusing trying to keep the characters straight when so many of them have names starting with K. I get that it was a thing with that family but still with so many members..... Another thing was there seemed to be too many loud in your face, over the top characters, that really didnt do much to progress the story. Makes you wonder why they are even there. My main problem with this story is that the main female character, Jade, wasn't very likable. In any other story she would be playing the role of the evil ex or the woman in the heros life who he isnt interested in and we agree with him because shes annoying. I dont know maybe its just me but i had to force my self to finish it. *N*
