5.0 out of 5 stars The Spoken Word Indeed!, December 19, 2001
This review is from: Give Me Your Hump: The Unspeakable Terry Southern (Audio CD)
Just as he mastered the art of the short story, gonzo journalism, screenwriting, and the pithy epistle, Terry Southern, with a little help from friends like Nelson Lyon, Michael O'Donoghue, Jonathan Winters, Marianne Faithful, Hal Wilner and company, proves to be no slouch in the Spoken Word Department. "Give Me Your Hump" is a very funny and profound survey of many of Southern's greatest comic achievements. This was one of Southern's last major projects and it has been brought to completion with wit, sensitivity, care, and style. I especially enjoyed "The Loved One" sketch where Terry plays both funeral director and client.

5.0 out of 5 stars VILE! SLANDEROUS! IMPOLITE!, October 30, 2001

This review is from: Give Me Your Hump: The Unspeakable Terry Southern (Audio CD)
This record will warp your CD player. It will warp your brain. It's rude and crude and DIRTY! It will upset the neighbors, make your property values sink and lower your standing in the community. This CD is vile! It is beneath reproach! In other words, it's one of the funniest... CD releases of the year--of any year! Buy it--steal it if you have to--(no, don't steal it) but GET THIS CD.
