: I have a confession to make. I am not a coffee connoisseur. I am not a coffee pundit. I am not what you would call a "coffee snob." I do love coffee. I drink it all the time. But if I were to be absolutely honest I would have to say that if it weren't for the caffeine I would not worship it so. I would write poems and draw pictures portraying my love for Mountain Dew (my 2nd favorite caffeine drink). By the grace of the Almighty there is caffeine in coffee therefore it is my caffeine drink of choice. I prefer an Iced Latte with four shots of espresso and a splash of skim milk but if all you have is instant then I'll take it.

Anyway.... without the bird seed, the cliff notes to this intro are: "I love caffeine, that's why I love coffee. End of story."

So really, this book is a tribute to caffeine and the "the poem that runs through it" is called "The Caffeine." Of course, I wrote the poem, therefore it's a Poetry 101 for $100 please Alex.
