Editorial Reviews

2008 UK CD pressing of this single pulled from the chart-topping album Minutes To Midnight. Produced by Rick Rubin and Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda, 'Given Up' combines a Punk energy with a grinding riff and represents one of the heaviest moments on the album. Warner.

5.0 out of 5 stars Given Up: the controversial single August 17, 2012
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
Given Up is the fourth single taken from the third album "Minutes to Midnight".

Compared to the other singles from this album, Given Up is the most controversial of them. Reasons? Linkin Park don't advertise the single and it doesn't have b-sides (expect for the iTunes version and a limited edition single) but I think it's amazing how what. Also the 7" single contains only the album version.

However, this is the best single and song from Minutes to Midnight: aggressive, heavy metal, and a 18 second-long scream by Chester Bennington. I never heard a song so energetic and powerful.
