Don't Worry About Buying This, March 10, 2010
This review is from: Pi by Givenchy for men 3.3 oz Eau De Toilette EDT Spray (Health and Beauty)
Pros: -Scent -Strength -Reach (how easily the scent spreads) -Duration Cons: -Glass bottle -Bottle Shape -Cap handle Description: You don't need to worry about how this cologne smells, it's amazing, like a perfect mixture of cinnamon, chocolate, and that usual high end cologne scent. The cologne is also fairly strong (but not too strong), it lasts really long, and spreads well. I sprayed this in my room twice in the morning once, the scent lasted all day and it spread to the hallway. The only problem you may have with this cologne is the bottle. It is made of glass which makes it hard to travel with. The shape is that of a rectangular prism and on the two back sides there is this strange pattern chiseled there making holding the bottle feel awkward. If you look at the picture, you will notice the handle-like attachment on the cap. I'm guessing this is supposed to make sure the cap is not pressed by accident, although, the pressure required to press the cap does that job on its own. The "handle" just gets in the way.

Not for the Faint of Heart, February 21, 2010
This review is from: Pi by Givenchy for men 3.3 oz Eau De Toilette EDT Spray (Health and Beauty)
Pi is a decidedly enigmatic scent. Don't leave this one to a testing strip at the counter; put a spritz on [ONE] and walk around with it, taking an occasional whiff. If you're conservative [traditional] with your colognes, Pi likely won't have much appeal; it is not extremely masculine and not strongly tied to the typical conventions of gender in regard to olfaction. This is not to say it isn't for men. Givenchy's Pi is from a French tradition of eau de toilettes that rely on far sweeter base notes (in this case, vanilla) than a true "cologne." Givenchy does have hints of masculinity, though; a light woody scent upon closer inspection is notable. However, it works in tandem with a floral overture. Other scents resembling this one are common enough (particularly French varieties), and Pi smells to me like a far more refined and complex version of a French eau de toilette one of my roommates owned. While one of the reviewers is a woman wearer of this scent, I would have to say this scent still evokes enough masculinity that no one would mistake it for a woman's perfume. Pi is not overpowering, nor is it so subtle that a woman would have to be rubbing her nose up against your neck to notice it. It endures throughout the day; though for an evening out, a touch-up spray might be in good order to stand apart from the crowd. Overall, as someone who came from Kenneth Cole Black and Cordovan by Banana Republic; Pi is a more complex, refined scent than any I have ever experienced. It is truly unique, much like ' itself.

I love this cologne. My personal favorite ever. EVER., December 24, 2009
This review is from: Pi by Givenchy for men 3.3 oz Eau De Toilette EDT Spray (Health and Beauty)
In 2005, I stole a bottle of Pi (Givenchy) from my dad. He never used it, and I wasn't using any cologne at the time. I fell in love with it. This is the only cologne I've actually bought more than one bottle of (currently on my third). I've used Paris Hilton for Men, Kenneth Cole Black, Ed Hardy Love & Luck, Beckham Signature to name a few and this by far is my favorite. My first two bottles ('05 and '06) were perfect, would last me all day, and I would always get a compliment about how I smelled. This last bottle ('09), hasn't been up to standard...same smell however it just doesn't last the entire day. I'll usually put some on in the morning, and the smell is gone by lunchtime. I think another user said it best, to look for a fresh bottle. I still love this cologne.
