5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Read for Everyone!, March 9, 2008

My mother gave me this book when I was in high school and it helped me more then any book I had read while growing up. There are two books other then the Bible that I consider a Must read... 'Wild at Heart' and 'Givers Takers and other kinds of Lovers'. The authors don't just help you to understand about other people but about ourselves. What type of person do you want to be? What type of people do yo an tin your life?

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible Book, June 3, 2010

This is one of the shortest books, and one of the best books I've ever read. It proves, in as little as 96 pages, there is so, so much more to love, and more to be said about love and the understanding of it than we could ever truly grasp. The author uses God's Word- The Holy Bible, for his information and understanding of true, meaningful love. I recommend this book to anyone of any age, from teens just starting to date, to adults like myself, who never have had a true grasp, of the real love God has put together and intended for us to share together in our marriages, under Christ as our head, united as one- under God. I have grown since reading this book, and I encourage all to read this book!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A great common sense perspective that isn't so common, December 12, 2011

This review is from: Givers, Takers & Other Kinds of Lovers (Living books) (Mass Market Paperback)
Were you once niave enough to believe that marrying a women before having sex with her was like buying a car without taking it for a test drive? I was. This book made me realize not only how stupid that line of thinking is but also set me on a life-long journey to discover all the other stupid lies around us that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God.

If you wonder what the point is in waiting until you are married to have sex, this book will give you the quick common sense answers that will make you say "duh-how could I have been so deceived?".
