This CD is absolutely wonderful! I had alot of trouble finding a CD that had "The Wedding Song" sung by the original artist Noel Paul Stookey and this CD does have it. All the songs are beautiful and the sound is terrific. Nothing generic about it.

I have been looking for Paul Stookey's "The Wedding Song" for 2years. I was told I had to go to a flea market and take my chances by just about every retailer I went to and it's my favorite track on this CD. Comming in a close second is Steven Curtis Chapman's "Go There With You" a song he wrote for his wife, Mary Beth-lucky woman!

Finally, I cannot believe after 2 weeks searching that I finally found a CD with There is Love (The Wedding Song) sung by Noel Paul Stookey, the original artist, whose sweet, sweet voice makes this song complete. His version of this song is like no other (sorry, Petula) and it was worth holding out to find. God gave him this song, and the ability to sing it like intended at the joining of two. Thanks amazon for helping me find it.

I have looked everywhere for Paul Stookey's: There is Love. I finally found it and in the process found a wonderful album. The Wedding Prayer song is the best as well as the title track: I'm Giving You the Best of My Life. I would highly recommend this cd to all of my friends.

I have finally found the most elusive song. The Wedding Song(There is love) by Noel Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul & Mary is a song I have been looking for in something other than vinyl for a long time. I havn't listened to the CD yet, but I know most of the songs, and they are good selections. If they weren't, I would buy it for the one track.

Paul Stookey's The Wedding Song (There is Love) is one of the most beautiful, reverent, appropriate songs to play at your wedding, and I'm glad I finally found the original version of it. However, the rest is really bad. Just, bad. If I was less moral I would just search for the MP3.

This CD only has one redeeming quality and that is the inclusion of Paul Stookey's original recording of The Wedding Song...as for the rest of the music...just a waist of good CD space. I am normally much more forgiving on compilation recordings but ACK...save me now?????

I bought the CD for the one song which I absolutely HATE to have to do but this song is nearly impossible to find on CD so my money is not entirely waisted...........

This CD is OK and I did like the fact that
The Wedding Song is on it.
I also was glad to finally find on amazon
"A Song For My Son" for the mother groom dance and
"A Song For My Daughter" for our father bride dance.
I could get these songs as singles or on
The New Wedding Traditions Volume I CD

I have no earthly idea what most of "Rest Of My Life" sounds like. But the inclusion of Paul Stookey's sublime "Wedding Song (There Is Love)" makes whatever you paid for it the absolute bargain of the new millenium.

Why did you stop listing the names of the songs for us to view on the CD's? I want to know what the names of the songs are before I buy.
