CASE SCRATCHED MY LAPTOP,

BEWARE-MISLEADING ADVERTISING
One of the listed product features includes "smooth anti-scratch interior." However what it does not say is there is this plastic piece sewn into the interior (it looks like pockets for SD cards or something) with sharp corners. These corners have scratched my $1300 brand new lap top. Also beware that the macbook pro laptops are pretty heavy and this case doesn't have any external grip or handles so when you grab your laptop while its in this case it may slip out of your hand and drop on the ground. Other than those 2 very glaring faults, it's a typicall laptop sleeve. Although I do appreciate the external zipper pocket since most sleeves don't have anywhere to cary the power cord.

Shipping took a while but once I got the product I was pleased. The material that the sleeve is made out of is thin which I dont mind because I carry my Macbook Pro in a Timbuk2 laptop bag. The product holds the Macbook Pro 13.3 inch perfectly late 2009 model. I ordered a similar product from Amazon I liked the material it was made out of better then this one but the problem was the sleeve was to big for my laptop I think the name was Beez only if they could make a sleeve that fits the macbook pro perfectly. For 11.99 its a good product, but if I were to pay say thirty for this sleeve I would be disappointed. One feature I like is that once you put your laptop in the sleeve there are flaps that go over the corners of your laptop so the zipper doesn't scratch it . I think this sleeve is ideal if you want a little protection when you put your laptop in a messenger style bag what I mean is when you carry your laptop in a non protected bag so as a classic Jansport backpack for example dont expect this sleeve to protect your Macbook if you drop your back, for overall protection you may want to search around and get a sleeve that has a thicker material if your relying on the sleeve to be drop protection. Its a trade off either get one with the thick material which will take a little more space up or get this one if you just want a barrier between your laptop and other accessories you carry in your laptop bag. If I was to carry my laptop in a backpack I don't know if I would feel comfortable using this sleeve for adequate protection. The little carabiniere that it comes with is cute its little and can be put on your keychain.

Leaves scratches on computer,

At first, I was really happy that this case had a pocket on front. I quickly figured out that once I put in my MacBook Pro (13"), I couldn't fit my electric cord into the pocket. But it was certainly handy for a pair of earbuds and a screen wipe.
But then I noticed that my beautiful Mac had a little, black chip on the top. I anxiously tried to clean it, but nothing worked. A few months later, when I was finally starting to ignore the first scratch, another scratch appeared. And only 10 minutes ago, I found yet another. They correspond exactly to little black indentations on the inside of the case. It seems that when I have my computer in my full backpack, the zipper gets pushed inwards enough that it will poke through and scratch the computer inside. If you put in a piece of soft cloth between your computer and the front side of the case, that would probably take care of the problem. But if it's too much trouble to make sure you have a piece of cloth aligned right, I would buy a case without a pocket.
