This is a convenient way to instantly condition water... and also will be appealing to children to use in caring for their pet. However, WHY is the image of the poor goldfish in a too-small bowl being promoted yet again by people who should know much better!!???? Goldfish belong in no less than 10 gallons per fish. This will make keeping the water clean MUCH, much easier, with a 1/2 tank water change per week, and will lead to a healthy and long-lived goldfish. PLEASE, no more goldfish bowls.... let's be talking about TANKS.
