Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
Hurricane season begins here in Florida on June 1st and this is "THE" bottled water I am going to stock up on for my hurricane preparedness. Not only does Glaceau smartwater taste exceptionally well, it is vapor distilled for purity.

I prefer drinking distilled water over the very hard tap water we have here in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. Pure water has a pH value of 7.0 making it neutral, meaning that it produces neither acidifying or alkalizing effects within the body when it is consumed.

Glaceau distilled water has added electrolytes of calcium chloride, magnesium chloride and potassium bicarbonate for superior taste and it is the very best distilled water I have ever tasted. Bicarbonate and alkalizing forms of calcium and magnesium have been shown to reduce both urinary calcium loss and bone breakdown. Furthermore the added alkalizing minerals and bicarbonates contained in the water are much more easily assimilated by the body and improve hydration.

Another consideration if you are a coffee drinker like me - it's also a very good idea to drink plenty of pure filtered water such as Glaceau smartwater. Coffee, even decaffeinated coffee, is very acidifying, causing a loss of minerals in the urine and contributes to a lack of hydration. I have noticed that by drinking more of this Glaceau smartwater my need for coffee has decreased as my energy level naturally starts to rise.

This is all very important to me, particularly as a Florida resident facing another hurricane season, making Glaceau smartwater an essential item in my personal disaster kit.

I love smart water but not at twice the price. Sam's Club has the same 12 pack for $10.48! Ouch.

I have psoriasis and was looking into things that help. This is a perfect product. Electrolytes calcium chloride, magnesium chloride and potassium bicarbonate (NOT SODIUM BICARBONATE!!!) Really helpful with inflamatory issues. I drink it and use topically for a skin soak. GREAT PRODUCT!!! I was looking for the pH online and there seems to be some misinformation or old information. I tested the pH of the product Glaceau Smart Water and what I've got is just under 7 pH around 6.8-6.9 pH. So good pH near neutral. If you have psoriasis or any inflamatory issues please do a web search on magnesium bicarbonate The Ultimate Mitochondrial Cocktail! You'll be giving this water a try! Good taste as well.

Does it make me smarter? Nope. Does it taste fantastic ice cold? Yup. I love this water. Why does it taste so much better than other waters? It tastes the way I imagine the polar ice caps taste, the ones that have never seen one atom of pollution,
germs, dirt or anything else, just pure hydrogen (two molecules) and oxygen (one molecule).
That's what this tastes like. Crisp. And it doesn't hurt, even though it's silly, to imagine as I drink it that I'm getting smarter from that added potassium and magnesium, two minerals we all need more of, especially our brains.
I'm sure my brain, being mostly water, appreciates this. Yes it's a brain drink, psychologically at least.

Smart Water is purified tap water although the website does say that some plants may use spring water.
Every single mineral and chemical that can be in water is removed. Things like arsenic and chromium are not detected in
Smart Water once it has gone through it's treatment and filtering process. The website for this states that it
is "pure as the first drop of rain". Then the minerals potassium, magnesium and calcium are added to it.
These minerals are important to good health and a long life. The website has a long list of solid particulates
that can be found in most water, and throughout the list, after the purification process of Smart Water, none
with the exception of a tiny amount of flouride can be detected.

This intense purification process is what is responsible for the pure clean taste of this water. I was hoping to find out the pH since it is better for health reasons to drink more alkaline water but that was not to be found.

This is my favorite brand of bottled water. It isn't fancy: it's just distilled water that's been laced with electrolytes (magnesium, calcium, and potassium bicarb) for flavor. It tastes (to me) how water should taste, and is easily chuggable. I also like Icelandic water and some of the more alkaline waters; I dislike some of the spring waters (although it's all water, so I don't dislike it that much).

The price for this particular item is a little much: I can find this at my grocery store or local warehouse store for about $1/bottle.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
My wife and I both like this water. We found it very refreshing. The size is very convenient, making it easy to pack with our lunch or on a golf outing. (I've purchased the huge bottle, but it was difficult to carry.) I honestly don't know how to describe its taste, as water is supposed to be tasteless. But there definitely is a difference between this bottled water, some of the cheaper versions you find by the case at grocery or department stores, and tap water. According to the label, electrolytes are added for taste (whatever that means).

It is rather pricey though. But if you purchase by the 6-pack or larger count size, you'll definitely make out better than buying individual bottles at your local convenience store. Sure, you can buy a case of 24-bottles of Brand X for less than one 6-pack of Smartwater, but it won't taste the same. It's probably just tap water in a plastic bottle anyway. If you want a better, more refreshing water, I'd recommend this.
