The Best Neoprene Glove,
By Water Girl (B.C., Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Glacier Glove Premium Waterproof Toughtek Glove (Apparel)
I am a Water Quality Technician so I am out on lakes and in streams and rivers throughout the year monitoring water quality. These gloves are great!! They keep my hands warm and dry no matter how cold it is. They are extremely well made, very durable, and I can even write without having to remove the gloves. Even with my heavy use I can get 2-3 years out of these gloves before they start to wear out. I highly recommend them.

Best Gloves I've owned,
By Pros Cantos (Columbus, OH United States) - See all my reviews

I don't normally write product reviews, but these gloves are too good.
I'm an environmental geologist in Ohio, and work outdoors with water, soil, and metal tools. I also commute to work on a motorcycle. These gloves are waterproof and, more importantly for me, WINDPROOF. The neoprene/fleece offers enough insulation to keep the hands warm even when wet and working with metal tools in cold wind and yet they are thin enough (barely) to push buttons on my phone or other instruments or to stretch a pair of nitrile gloves over them for chemical sampling.

I bought a pair of the gloves and they leaked at the seams the first time I used them. I returned the gloves and tried a second pair. This pair also leaked the first time I used them. I would strongly recommend against anyone buying this product. This was a very frustrating and disappointing experience.

Not worth the money, what so ever...,

I found no value in this over-priced product. The toughtek glove is certainly not tough. The seams leaked after only a few hours of use which is probably due to the fact that the seams are only sewn and not truly sealed or welded like other neoprene gloves. Perhaps the product would be worth half of its $40 price if the seam construction was fixed, as the outer protection on the neoprene is slightly more durable than other cheaper neoprene gloves (but added durability is not that much better), however, the horrible seam construction made this product worthless. I would not recommend this product to anyone as the cheaper neoprene gloves that you find at Cabelas for $16 are much better than this product.
