Works well for the 45-70F range. With mitt on, it's almost too warm for that range while walking. Only gripe (design inherent) is that reaching into pockets is a little difficult: so keep your keys on your belt like I do and 99% of the time you won't mind.

Bought 3 pairs (for 3 people) for an Alaskan fishing trip. The windproof material is excellent, and not too bulky.

I bought these gloves for a cold and wet weather fishing trip. The gloves worked perfect, my hands stayed nice and dry and warm. The removable finger tips made tying on lures nice and simple as well as casting using bait casters. Highly recommend these to anyone who does some winter fishing!!!

I wanted a convertible mitten to wear when I walk my dogs so that I could have my fingers available for fumbling with leashes and, um, the bags, yet something warm enough when I'm out for a long time. Same for biking in colder weather. I looked and looked for these! They should be tagged with more useful descriptive words. Not only do these fit well and work well, they are thick material too. Very happy with this purchase.
