If you've never tried these bags before, be sure to do so soon. They really are the best out there. We use them for the cat's litter boxes. They don't tear very easily and well, it just makes cleanup a TON easier. Been using them for years and I LOVE the drawstrings to tie when you're done with the bag. Highly recommend!

Outstanding in their perfomance. They always excede my expectations and never break or leak no matter how much or how heavy the bag is filled. I would not buy any other brand.

The bags are sturdy but the drawstring is very weak. They break very easy so they are not good for carrying and they even break without using them to carry the load.

I would give the regular Glad Tall Kitchen Trash Bags, Drawstring White, 13 Gallon a 5 star review but the reason I'm giving it one star, and the reason for my review, is their recent switch to the gripping drawstrings.

I only use drawstrings - I hate the others, like the handle tie and the quick tie. However, Glad has changed the drawstring bags so that they grip tightly around the trash can. I have some issues with my fingers, neuropathy being one of them, and I just can't loosen the drawstring, to burp the bag or remove the trash, etc. It's way too tight.

Their TV ad shows a woman throwing garbage away in a trash can with a bag that has an ordinary drawstring, and it shows how the bag comes away from the sides and all of the trash goes into the can intead of the bag. In comparison, their new gripping drawstring holds so it doesn't come away when dumping heavy garbage. When I was little, the ad was identical except that the woman threw her trash away using a bag without drawstrings and the comparison was a bag WITH drawstrings. Interesting. If the regular drawstring bags could hold heavy garbage back then, why can't they now?

I wouldn't mind if they kept making the bags with regular drawstrings, but that's not the case. They have replaced them with the gripping drawstrings. So, I switched to Hefty. Even though they were the first with the gripping drawstrings, they still make the bags with regular drawstrings. For now, anyway.

These garbage bags are awesome. They are so awesome that if they had called them garbanzo bags I would still have bought them. They are tough and durable and have a nice smooth finish that I like to enjoy before I put them in my trash can. Unlike the el-cheapo Costco bags, these are easy to open and don't burst when I load them up with my trash. Totally awesome, highly recommended.

These bags are good, never had an issue with them, they get my trash from my house to the curb without any issues from me.

I am very happy with this purchase. The bags are very sturdy. Only one time the drawstring was broken. Overall, it's very good product. Price is very good too.

I bought these and used in my kitchen for a few months, we then moved a few months later and I used these to clean out my fridge and some odds and ends around the house. These work good for every day normal use garbage, but they do leak if you put some items in the bag. They did hold up with tossing bigger objects, they didn't break open which was nice.

I read the reviews before purchasing it and was worried about the quality not being as good as storebought. I told my hubby that I was buying yet another item from Amazon and he just rolled his eyes. He complained that the trash bags were in terrible shape, with the red tie breaking off before able to tie the bag shut. Come to find out, he was still using the store bought Glad trash bags since the Amazon order had still not arrived. He was shocked. Now we are using the Amazone Glad bags and they are working perfectly. I'm glad I took the chance!
