5.0 out of 5 stars Track Listing, Track Listing...., July 11, 2008

This is the track listing for a terrific collection of the cream of the crop of the DC5; a criminally underrated British Invasion band who people forget was the original competitor to the Beatle's throne early on in the British Invasion of America. This particular version of the cd is very rare as it contains an added track "Everybody Knows (I Still Love You)" that is not on the more common 25 track edition of this cd!

I just listened to the mp3 download versions of some of the DC5 hits and they are awful, I mean terrible. I spent about $35 dollars on a European DC5 CD a few years back and it was loaded with all of 2 hits out of 28 songs. 26 of them I had never heard before and listening to them helped me realize why. The Dave Clark Five were a strong competition to the Beatles in 1964-65 and had many great outstanding hits. But they dropped out of sight and hearing rapidly (we sort of heard through the grapevine that they didn't want anything to do with the rock 'n' roll lifestyle). And now that it is more than 45 years later I am hard pressed to remember them all. Hearing them would for one thing be much more recognizable and help to belay the fears that awful collection of mp3 frauds created. And I will never lay out that kind of money again for one of their CDs without hearing a partial recording like Amazon does on most CDs.
