The Modular GearBox comes with heavy-duty leveler legs to stabilize the unit on the floor of your garage. With the optionalCaster Kit (sold separately), you can quickly move the GearBox to where you are working, keeping your tools and parts near you for convenient access. To create a garage workstation, you can add the VersaTop Work Surface (sold separately) to two Ready-to-Assemble 28-Inch Modular GearBoxes.

The Modular GearBox is easy to assemble with the included parts. No power tools are necessary for assembly, and the door hinges feature keyhole slots, so the doors hang easily on the cabinet while you fasten the screws.

The attractive tread-plate doors of the Modular GearBox match other GarageWorks products for a put-together look. Each door closes securely with a durable magnetic latch--you can also lock the Modular GearBox with the included GarageWorks-compatible key to keep your tools safe. For further convenience, the doors feature large, recessed handles that save space and make it easy to open the cabinet.

Durable Construction That's Built to Last
The sturdy and durable Modular GearBox can support up to 45 pounds per shelf or 300 pounds per cabinet. The Allen-head bolt screws establish a strong and stable cabinet structure for long-term use.

I've bought two of these within the last year and both were easy to build and very well constructed. The directions are very easy to follow and it took me about an hour to setup.

Drawers on both of my units slide well.

Keep an eye on the price of these units as they tend to go on sale for a great price and free shipping.

The quality is OK for the price. It is somewhat difficult to assemble, but once together it gets the job done. It's even better with the wheel kit on it. I'm glad I bought the kit.

Just a note for those that are looking to purchase these cabinets. If you are planning on these cabinets with the optional casters and the VersaTop Work Surface and 6' or 8' Workbench they will not fit under the workbench, too tall by only around an inch. Knowing that this cabinet is not the "Premier" series I don't see how Whirlpool could overlook this as this is to be a modular system. Was told these are the "Manufactured in China" cheaper model and not the "Premier" made in Chicago. Would have thought that Gladiator would have been more specific to this such as another line of product as they have the Cadet and Premier lines. Still a good overall product, just need to be a little more descriptive in their product lines and versatility.
