After waiting far beyond what was promised, Ron's hardware finally sent word that they were shipping this item. I don't know whether I excited about receiving the purchase or actually hearing from the vendor who ignores email. I found out it was shipped but never got a tracking number. One day it finally arrived. The assembly was straight-forward without any surprises. I will likely purchase another from Sears who has better pricing and service.

I guess I did not read the product description carefully. I expected an assembled, welded item with magnetic door latches like the other Gladiator GearBoxes that I own. This is not.

Its easy to assemble, all the required hardware is included. As noted by someone else, it seems a bit flimsy compared to the other Gladiator boxes I own. Except for this item I think the Gladiator boxes are superior to the Craftsman units. I compared both at Sears and it was an easy decision to buy Gladiator.

If you've assembled any Gladiator products in the past, and have the right tools- this will take you 30 minutes to assemble. A simple automatic screwdriver will speed up the process considerably on most RTA Gladiator products.

I ordered mine from Sears for less than 90 bucks on sale- but when assembled, the doors were WAAAY off track from each other. I had to apply a little force to them (pull up on one, down on the other) to get them to line up. Then it was perfect.

I use mine for my gun cleaning supplies. But as another reviewer stated, you WILL NOT be storing any tall items in this cabinet. Still- it works fine and looks great next to all my other Gladiator gear. The open air shelf on the bottom has a hole for a power cord, but I stack my gun cleaning mats and manuals on it. They fit perfectly.

Gladiator is a good product, and I find it to be (especially during sales) a better value than Craftsman. I really think the quality is superior as well. Ready to assemble (RTA) units (like this one) may not be perfect, but the Gladiator Premier line is virtually perfect.

The cabinet is okay for a garage cabinet. Assembly was not hard, just very tedious. At least the parts were all there. The cabinet is a little overpriced but then all the Gladiator items are. Don't expect to put a lot in it but for a bunch of small items, it is fine. Overall I am happy with all the Gladiator cabinets that I have purchased I just wish that they were a little less expensive.

I bought one from Craigslist for $40, and two others for $70 off of Craigslist. I have them lined up three in a row, with the 6 foot workbench underneath, which I paid only $179 from a Sears overstock!

Most pictures of this product show two together; 3 in a row looks real cool.

Easy to put together (even by one person), looks great and hangs well on Gear Track. At the price (20% off during June - Father's day special) this was a bargain that came with quality.

I purchased this unit to hold some of my auto maintenance items, such as oil and filters, filter wrenches, etc. I use the bottom shelf for a portable stereo. Assembly is rather tedious and takes a while (six panels + 2 doors and LOTS of screws), but the finished product is sturdy and attractive. The top shelf is adjustable (unlike what you see in the picture), but there are only three positions for it. You can either have a 4 1/2" shelf and a 10 1/2" shelf, or two shelves that are ~7 1/2" each. Also, the open shelf at the bottom is also ~7 1/2". So just be aware that you won't be storing any tall items in this unit unless you leave out the upper shelf. Also note that the right door must open before you can open the left door, because the right door holds the left door shut.

Not a bad unit but a little flimsey craftsman at sears probably a better deal
