This review is from: The Gladiator : The Hill of the Dead (Paperback)
I read this as a kid and loved it. I searched for the book, found it and re-read much of it. There was a good fight between gladiators as I remembered. What shocked me was how blood-thirsty the main character was. It was bloody, grim and too much. The "hero" was too evil to cheer for and the world the author built too ruthless. If you want to cheer for a heartless murderer with no redeeming goal or value, this book will be a good read. Otherwise, avoid it.
