I've got to borrow a title from a song in the album - this album is 'worthy to be praised'! If you are a fan of Gladys Knight, toe-tapping traditional gospel music, or just crave good music, this CD is a MUST HAVE. My favorite song is 'He Lives' - a song that Gladys sings with such passion. It is a song about her belief in Jesus Christ. It has a beautifully melody written by Kenny G and deeply personal lyrics written by her husband. In our post 9/11 world, we could all use an emotional lift. Gladys Knight and her SUV choir deliver that lift with a powerfully emotional punch. Life is good and this album reminds us why. Be sure to track down the edition with the bonus track duet by Ray Charles and Gladys Knight- "Heaven Help Us All". This was recorded shortly before Charles' death and has been nominated for a Grammy (and should win, in my opinion).

I was really happy to get this CD and to feel the great spirit of the 100 voice choir directed by Gladys Knight...there are beautiful renditions of a variety of music. Her voice is as great as ever and its awesome that she would turn some of her energy in this direction. I keep this CD close by to put in my car or home system for a great uplift! This CD is on the charts and in our hearts! I share it with visitors...it's a hit! Her love of the Savior is evident in her music.

Whether you are a Gladys Knight fan or not, this cd will take you to a whole new level of "gospel" music. The songs will raise you up, make you think and fill your spirit. Ms. Knight is in top form. Her soul permeates through out each track, whether she is directing or singing..and what a voice!
Do your ears a favor, fill them with the delicious gospel of "One Voice".

This CD mixed a variety of musical styles with the distinct style and class of Gladys Knight. She doesn't disappoint! If you like a great gospel feel, this CD is a must!

If you are dissuaded from purchasing this CD because Gladys Knight is only on 5 of the tracks, shame on you. This is an exceptional CD! It hit #9 on Billboard in its first week! Miss Knight's fingerprint is on every song. Do we buy a Kirk Franklin CD and expect him to be on every track, or do we accept his talent the way he gives it to us? Miss Knight delivers gospel CD done very well with a very talented choir. She uses the talents in the Choir to benefit us all. Shout if from the rooftops! I couldn't disagree more with the review of "Music Fan" It is true that Gladys is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I enjoy these hymns very much as she sings/directs them. When Gospel music is sung, i listen to the message. She and her choir sing of "Loving One Another" and being a "Child of God". Those teachings ring true with me, whether sung by a member of my church or another church.

As far as a review of the album? The songs are simple enough to follow, but they certainly have the famous Gladys touch.

Well, I have bought the record two weeks ago and I like it pretty much. It is not exactly what I expected but the surprise whas very good. You may be surprised by the changes in the rhythms. Quiet melodies followed by real gospel music. It makes it not bothering. Words are simple but touching. The duos between the choir and Gladys makes it very enjoyable. I particularly enjoy "Love one another" and "He's worthy". Good music, indeed!

Gladys Knight at what she does best...inspire the best in all of us! It's beautiful!
