Excellent Replacement Bridge,

I picked this up as a replacement bridge for Full Size 4/4 Electric Violin Complete Set - Black (which came with an absolutely horrible bridge). I've been using using this brand of bridge on my cello for almost a decade, so I knew what I was buying. This violin bridge works perfectly even on my new "oddly-shaped" electric violin.

Nothing fancy. Just a good, well-made bridge that will fit any violin. I'm tremedously pleased with this product.

Everyone told me that once the bridge breaks on your violin, you need a professional to build a new one for you. My violin was a cheap one, so I did not want to pay someone to fix it. Then I found this adjustable bridge. I took a chance and was not disappointed at all. You must follow the instructions to install it correctly or you may have problems. My violin works fine now.

I bought this for an electric violin that was said to come with a bad bridge. I paid around $20 for it. My violin teacher seemed a bit disappointed by the fact that it was nearly 3 times what she paid for her bridge (not a Glaesel), and she's been playing a while.
It seems to work fine. For a newbie, it was nice to see instructions, but I don't think it told me while direction to put it on. I ended up flipping it the wrong way for about 2 weeks before I learned it was backwards. (Black line goes on the E string).

I've bought 3 of these for full-size violins. I've had excellent success with them for the most part. One violin did require some adjustment of the bridge height, and I shaved it down some. On my electric violin it didn't work out very well, but I've been very happy with these bridges.

I'm new to the violin, but play guitar and piano. At 60 years old I decided to try it. Bought an outfit used without a bridge. I did some research and was still confused until I happened here. Well, following online instructions (no instructions come with this bridge) after having to notch the E string, it played just fine on my 4/4 violin. I'll be buying this brand should I need to in the future-- you can't go wrong.
