Have bought 2 or 3 different endpin stops. Most of them are not sticky on wood floor. If an endpin stop slides on floor, why do we need it? This one stays on floor just fine. Would buy another one if I need to.
One suggestion if you use it extensively on wood floor, you should clean its bottom periodically. Remove dust and hair. Always let its rubber exposed completely.

This endpin rest does the job great. It holds my cello endpin completely still when I am on carpet, wood, or linoleum. The value for this product cannot be beat!

However, when I opened the package for the first time, I was blown back by how stinky the rubber was. Everyone in the room immediately complained. So I put it outside for a couple days and then brought it back inside and it was fine.
