About the Author

GD is a solo artist, he writes and performs his own music in different genres and styles, including electronic/dance, instrumental and glam/rock. His musical style is a fusion between the melodic pop music of contemporary instrumental authors (Pat Metheny, Vangelis and Jean Michelle Jarre), and the pop/rock vocal style of the '80 Glam Music (David Bowie, Bryan Ferry and Paul Young). He plays using the most modern technologies, including the Roland VG8 (he had a patch card created for it available on the VG8.com site), and an his own creation, the V - Mandolin (and original Napoletan mandolin that drives synth sounds). GD is also known as a member of UNICEF's Net Aid Organization.
