About the Author
Lauren Bain has practiced law, written her share of ponderous poems, and traveled throughout the world. Now a recovering lawyer with no interest in anything ponderous, she lives on Vashon Island with her husband, her cat, Coolidge, and her dog, Hardy. She also plays chamber music, and keeps her life and poetry light except when she is studying Italian.

This is a absolutely delightful book. Anyone who has ever owned a cat will totally relate to the poems - and the drawings are the 'icing on the cake'.
