4.0 out of 5 stars extremely useful 3 out of 4 seasons
I find the glamourmom tank top very useful, because it has the power to turn almost any outfit into a nursing-friendly one. It makes for very discreet nursing because your stomach & some of your boob is covered by the tank, and then you hanve your own shirt over it which covers you above the baby.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice but sized small
I really do love love love these nurisng tanks. They are made from thick material and have great support. However... they have a horribly itchy tag in the back and also run small. I am around a size 34-36 B normally and so I bought Med. Well, they are tight... so tight I get tired of them by the end of the day. They need to check their sizing chart... b/c I am not a...

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice thick tank but not good for larger busts, February 11, 2011

I bought one of these in the 'long' size because I was thrilled to find something that would completely cover my torso. It's nice thick cotton and has good construction, though they do run small. I was a 34 DD when nursing and the Large was very tight. Also, in hot weather the good construction is a detriment since having 4 layers of fabric over your chest (which is already hot and uncomfortable) is really unpleasant. And, you really can see the cutouts through the tank, so it needs to be layered under something.

The biggest problem I had was the thin straps were way too flimsy to provide good support. Glamourmom makes a different kind of tank (called a 'top' I think) that sounds like it would be better. (Ultimately, I found that the cheap ones from that big box bullseye store were better for me.)

The tanks run tight and are stretchy, which are great consider they are serving as underwear/undershirt. Elastic helps hold in all the remaining postpartum pudge.

Only downside is that wearing two shirts is way to hot for nursing in the summertime. The tank is not cotton and can be sweaty on a sunny day, esp with 2 layers on.
The tank CANNOT be worn on its own. The cutouts around the nipples are very much on display.

2.0 out of 5 stars Great Idea, Poor Execution, March 19, 2011

These are really great in theory...

What I didn't like:
- Straps are thin, if you are "top heavy" they dig into your shoulders and are quite uncomfortable
- Sizes don't seem to be accurate: I ordered an XL and it was quite short and tight all over. I consider myself to be an average size person- size 10/12 and these tanks were quite ill fit.
- The holes in the tank that my breasts were supposed to poke out of when it was time to feed ended up on sides of breasts. So I had to struggle with getting everything properly adjusted while I was trying to be discreet. I found the tank really frustrating to use.

I really do like the idea of a nursing tank with the bra built it, I just wish that they considered that nursing moms are carrying extra weight in their breasts and at least padded the straps.

I got this as a gift and although the sizing does run small it's a very well made tank. I liked that the fabric gave a little bit of a control top and smoothed out some of the post pregnancy lumps. it's also very, easy to maneuver and it washes very well. I had nipple cream on and it made a huge mess, well it washed right out without leaving a stain. I definitely will be buying more of these because of the fit, the ease of care and the fact that I did not feel exposed at all using them to nurse in public.
