Nice book with many different glassware companies items listed. There are great pictures in this book! It has a price guide right next to the picture or below it.

I bought this for my mom for Christmas...to help her with her collection. Why not see if she has anything listed just for kicks. She's been collecting and we've been helping her add to her collection over the years, but we didn't know anything about them either.

It's fun to see if there's anything in the book. I would say that there is probably a second glass animal book in the works because this can't begin to cover all the makers. I see a few of my mom's in there, but I see a lot more that I think are old that aren't listed in this book.

Great picture identification book. Covers animals split into their own categories - e.g. bears, donkeys, fish, dragons, whales)

Great book. Well planned and informative. I found the item I was looking for very quickley.

Great introduction, but introduction ONLY to glass animals gramma gave you. Price guide is misleading--Market is uncertain and dependent on eBay sales. Also, you may not be able to accurately ID your glass horse, whatever, from the photos or description. Manufacturers have tiny differences in molds, so book should include blow-ups of those differences. I made a COSTLY mistake in IDing. In addition, the book tells you that a mold was later used by another maker, but does not tell you the value of those later pieces. Some descriptions are fuzzy, confusing. Frustrating!
