It's a lovely vase, but it won't hold a lot of flowers. The handblown glass is thick and sturdy, which is great, but keep in mind that this means the aperature is very small, so you're looking a large budvase here. I would suggest a single long-stemmed hydrangea which reaches to the bulb, and arrange the rest of the flowers in the neck.
