INDEX CASE ROCKS,

I was one of the lucky few to grab one of the last original copies on the internet. Even some of the band members themselves do not have this cd!

Now most people would shrug off Index Case and tell everyone within range that they are just useless nu-metal. They are nu-metal, but they have a greater purpose than to tell you how much life sucks and how you should end yourself. In fact, they SOUND like nu-metal, but the lyrics speak otherwise. This is their second effort, their first, I cannot remember the name. But after this came "The Weak and the Wounded" and then their self-titled debut. This album presents Index Case's heaviest song to date, "Roofies." It also presents them in a more vulnerable state, where they were still experimenting but at the same time well aware of just what they were trying to accomplish...Nu-Metal with an actual meaning behind it, and for once, a meaning that is not negative. They believe in all things coming together to form one entity (either human or otherwise) that will greatly help and possibly save this planet from total destruction. If you are so against nu-metal and you cannot at least see a hint of that when you listen to their music, then you are jaded beyond repair and you should huddle in your corner as one of their songs suggest. Give this album a go, as well as their self titled, and "Weak and the Wounded," which you can buy off of their site. Peace out.

this is one of my husbands favorite bands, since he was born in iowa, and hung out with the band before they became popular. this was an earlier album, and i feel one of the better ones, and a rare cd to find. if you do it will probably be used and/or expensive.
