Working with hot glass as an amateur, I find this book more than useful. The author has the ability to transfer know-how on dry subjects and many details in this book are exiting to explore. (even for a pro) A good mixture of design, pictures, hints and step by step instructions. Written in an easy to read, humourous style. It is worth every dollar. Higly recommended! Wish I had many books of this quality.

Well written, readable, and very comprehensive - includes a lot of useful information. The graphics and illustrations are especially well done. Plans for annealing ovens and various conversion tables are included. References to suppliers are helpful, especially with web addresses.

This book is very comprehensive and covers many techniques in different formes of artwork. It is maybe too broad and doesn't focus enough. It is however a valued addition to my collection.
Definately a reference as opposed to a 'glossy'.
