3.0 out of 5 stars limited use, March 5, 2009
This review is from: Glass' Office Gynecology (Hardcover)
actually I took this book because it's the only "office" book in GYN I've found. and I am disappointed.
1. a lot of topics are covered much better in another reference books - for example for all endocryne problems to check REI by Speroff et al. - much more conscious and understandable
2. I can't say it's really office style book - it's written with long texts, a few really good tables and a few algorithms or something. You can get all the same information with better organization from Novak or Comprehensive gynecology.
3. I would prefer this book to cother some "general medicine issues" you often encounter in office - like uncomplicated diabetes, hypertension various screening protocols. And concentrate more on really office problems without too much patophysiology and TEXT.
