Having seen this concert in St. Paul, Minnesota, I have personal reasons for loving this CD set. Unlike a previously released version, this set contains two songs near the end of the concert with guest Charlie Saxson.
With Peter Frampton on the tour, the guitar line up is much stronger than with Carlos Alomar alone. This concert was Bowie at his best from the Eighties. Carlos is no Mick Ronson when it comes to the song Heroes, but the Glass Spider Tour was awesome! A must have for Bowie lovers and one of his best live CDS to date! |
